Neve Paritzki Israel Reliably Breaks Records in Tourism Entry Numbers United States

NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase over the year before, while 71,000 American tourists were in Israel during August 2022.

"The United States is our number one market for travel to Israel prior to the COVID-19 epidemic was announced, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entries each month. Canada is home to 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022, and 6,000 tourists in August, isn't far from the United States.

Israel welcomed more than 4.6million tourists in 2019, of which 969,600 were from the United States. Since May when the country was reopened to all travelers, regardless of their vaccination status over 600,000.400 US visitors have visited Israel.
