Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first son of the Oyakhilomes, being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. After his first and second education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where was awarded an BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also granted the honorary Doctor of Science prize. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.
Chris Oyakhilome Ministries
While still in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a pupil. He began his journey into the ministry while in AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at that time known as Youths For Christ.
YFC rapidly grew and eventually was the largest campus-based organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church's headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global ministry which has thousands of associates worldwide.
BLW became the most prominent Christian ministry on television across Africa, through its"Atmosphere for Miracles" program in 2002. The programme was canceled in May 2004 by the president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would no longer broadcast miracles on TV.
Oyakhilome Pastor Chris's Ministry is comprised of four components that include publishing ministry (healing ministry) and television ministry (teaching ministry) and healing ministry (publishing ministry).
